Missy (played by William Baldwin) is a well-known lawyer in the industry, trusted by clients and superiors. However, in the eyes of his son Robbie (played by Michael Campion), Missy is not a qualified father; his busy work schedule leaves him little time to care for Robbie, resulting in a very distant father-son relationship. The death of their mother only exacerbates the situation between them. As Christmas approaches, the father and son receive a mysterious gift – a magical teddy bear that can help people realize any wish. In a moment of anger during an argument with his son, Missy makes a wish and they swap bodies. This leads to a comical series of events during which both of them gain a deeper understanding of each other and realize each other's struggles.
